BC 1 Call is urging homeowners and contractors to pick up the phone and give them a ring before digging during Dig Safe Month.
Before starting any renovation or excavation project, make sure to submit a locate ticket through our online service or call (1-800-474-6886) to ensure you know what infrastructure is below before digging.
You will be informed if telecommunication cables, electricity wires, natural gas lines, water mains and sewer lines are nearby.
Remember to click, call or check before you dig.
