Since 1994, we’ve made it free and easy for excavators to check whether any of our members have underground infrastructure in or near their proposed dig site.

Locate Requests

We get hundreds of thousands of requests each year for information about any buried facilities in proposed dig sites. The excavator starts the process by submitting a Locate Request ticket either online here or by phone.

BC 1 Call Members

Our members are public and private sector underground infrastructure owners who share a commitment to damage and injury prevention, and community safety.  Annually, members provide over 600,000 responses to Locate Requests within 3 business days of notification.
