Preventable Damage
Using the BC1C service before excavation begins helps prevent costly damage to underground infrastructure and utilities. Click, call or check before you dig to avoid paying for preventable damage.
Years of Service
BC1C has been providing the excavating community with a means to request information on the location of underground services which may be on their worksite prior to any ground disturbance or digging since 1994.
Locate Requests
When you click, call or check before you dig, you request a locate for potential underground utilities near your site. BC1C members who have utilities or services in the area will provide you with information, or send someone to locate the buried facilities for you.
BC1C Members
BC1C members are utility or service owners who have a vested interest in preventing disruption to their services and potential harm to excavators who may accidentally damage them. Our members provide excavators with mapping information about their utilities near the dig site.
