2020 was an outstanding year for BC 1 Call! Despite, and also because of Covid-19, BC 1 Call had one of its busiest years ever and by the end of the year, we witnessed record after record being broken.

Our 2020 Report to Members & Partners provides an overview of several operational metrics, as well as our progress on partnerships and communications activities to help raise awareness and use of BC 1 Call.

To give you an idea of the strength of the 2020 results, here are a few examples:

  • Record Number of Locate Requests: 212K, surpassing by almost 10K the prior record
  • Record Number of Registered Users: >62K, more than doubling since January 1st
  • Customer Experience: all targets were exceeded
  • Rating of Call Centre Agents: near-perfect score

We are very thankful for all the support we received from many organizations, especially FortisBC and BC Common Ground Alliance who collaborated with us in various initiatives throughout the year. Whether you joined our community in 2020 or at any earlier time in our 27-year history, 2020 was a great year because of our collective commitment over the years.
