Trans Mountain has released the second installment of its Spotlight on Safety series with an interview with Larry, a contractor from Tri-Way Farms Laser Levelling in Abbotsford, B.C. about his experiences using BC 1 Call.
Larry called attention to using BC 1 Call and collaboration with Trans Mountain to ensure project safety and continued company success.
“It definitely helps! Everybody is very easy to work with, easy to get in contact with and always fast too. Just recently, I surveyed a field and before starting, I placed a locate request with BC 1 Call. A Trans Mountain representative met me on-site and marked the pipeline. He also told me the pipeline didn’t run in a straight line but curved in the area I wanted to work on. As a result, I changed my plans to ensure safety and avoid damaging the pipeline,” he said.
