System Interruption

Updates to BC 1 Call locate request software will launch next week. Important times and cutover details are provided below.

PLEASE NOTE: Emergency calls will remain unaffected.

 

BC 1 Call’s system will be offline from 10pm PST, Feb 3, until 12am PST, Feb 4, while new features are implemented.

February 3: 10pm PST

BC 1 Call’s online system goes offline. Locate requests cannot be submitted online, and no tickets will be transmitted to members. All emergency locate request details will be reported to members by phone.

February 4: 12am PST

BC 1 Call’s system comes back online with all feature updates implemented. In addition to all emergency locate request details being reported to members by phone while the system was offline, details will now be entered into the system and transmitted to members.

 

Daily Summary Reports

PLEASE NOTE: All tickets sent on February 3 will include revision number -000 within the summary report, which will be issued on February 4 when the system comes back online.

Example:

Ticket 20260601234 transmitted Feb 3

Ticket 20260601234-000 as listed on the summary report Feb 4

The summary report for tickets transmitted on February 3 will be sent to Members the morning of February 4, after the maintenance window. The summary report will be sent in the updated format, with ticket types and revision numbers included in the report.
